Flagship Project
We don't just advise — we build. Sentinel Chicago is EJM Tech's flagship initiative: a conservation organization using urban wildlife monitoring as an environmental health indicator for Chicago's underserved neighborhoods.
Currently in its founding stage, Sentinel is being built from the ground up — from a data platform that overlays public environmental datasets to community partnerships with Chicago's wildlife conservation network. It represents the full scope of what we do: strategy, data infrastructure, digital presence, and organizational technology, all applied to a mission we believe in deeply.

EJM Tech is led by Eric Jawaid Marty, a software engineer with over 15 years of professional experience spanning web development, healthcare technology, document management systems, and digital presence work for mission-driven organizations.
Eric's career has taken him from early-stage startups to enterprise medical imaging software, with roles across the full stack — backend systems, frontend interfaces, and everything in between. That breadth of experience means he can meet organizations wherever they are technically and help them move forward.
Now founding Sentinel Chicago, Eric understands the realities of mission-driven work firsthand: limited budgets, small teams wearing many hats, and the pressure to deliver impact with constrained resources. That experience shapes every engagement.
